2014

2014: Official Regional Establishment
Establishing Melanesian Women Today in Vanuatu in 2014 marked the organization's official regional establishment. This milestone was accompanied by the inaugural regional workshop, the "Be the Change: Women Leadership Conference," held in Mele village, Vanuatu.

2017

2017: Women's Meeting Haos Construction (House)
Collaboratively facilitated the construction of a women's residence between 2016 and 2017 (Vanuatu Mamas’ English Class). This initiative involved the active participation of Odyssey Middle School students from Bainbridge Island, Washington, USA. They engaged in fundraising efforts to support the construction of the residence.

2019

2019: Education Sponsorship for Girls in the Solomon Islands
Since 2019, spearheaded a dedicated fundraising drive by students from Odyssey Middle School, Bainbridge Island, Washington, USA. The funds raised were utilized to sponsor the education of girls in Malaita, a province within the Solomon Islands. This initiative significantly impacted educational opportunities in the region, supporting at least 10 girls annually, where only 7% of girls typically graduate from high school.

2020

2020: Christmas in the Park Literacy Campaign
Initiated the Christmas in the Park Literacy Campaign in Vanuatu in 2020. This comprehensive program was designed to foster and promote literacy within the community during the festive season. This initiative also includes educating children about endemic plants in the Pacific especially in Vanuatu and handson basket weaving experience.

2021

2021: "Coming to the Mat" Podcast & SHE Podcast
Collaborated on the production of the SHE podcast, involving a volunteer from New Zealand associated with Melanesian Women Today. Delivered in Bislama, the local language of Vanuatu, this podcast aims to educate women from diverse backgrounds residing in Vanuatu.

Launched the "Coming to the Mat" podcast by Melanesian Women Today, accumulating a substantial following of 8000 subscribers. The podcast not only spotlights women's experiences but also serves an educational purpose by delivering valuable insights and perspectives to its engaged audience. Episodes are also aired on the national radio of Vanuatu on a weekly basis.

2022

2022: Global Literacy Project Amid the Pandemic
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, led a commendable book drive in 2022 involving students from Odyssey Middle School in Bainbridge Island, Washington, USA. This initiative resulted in the collection of 400 books. Through strategic partnerships with Holland America Cruise Line and Air Niugini, these books were successfully delivered to a village in the highlands of Papua New Guinea, emphasizing a commitment to global literacy even in adverse circumstances.

2023: MWT Engaged at the MACFest Festival
focusing on Literacy in partnership with Haus Storian Hosted a Workshop for Young Leaders: "Reshaping Women’s Spaces in Vanuatu" with Young Voices for Change Organized a Women’s Literacy Workshop culminating in the Sisterhood Creed workshop
