Asian Arts and Heritage Festival

Melanesian Women Today (MWT) is proud to partner with Arts & Humanities Bainbridge (AHB) in recognition of Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month. As one of several participating organizations, MWT is honored to take this time to reflect on and celebrate the remarkable role these communities have played in our nation’s history—uplifting the leadership, resilience, and achievements of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander peoples.

Throughout the month of May, MWT and AHB will spotlight the rich cultural contributions of these communities, culminating in Bainbridge’s 2nd Annual ASIAN ARTS & HERITAGE FESTIVAL at the Filipino American Community Hall on May 31.

We hope this series will spark curiosity, inspire reflection, and activate meaningful engagement in celebration of AANHPI Heritage Month!
